well... actually I made it last night ;-). When I saw this baby elephant stamp, I imagined it stamped on white and not much else. But then I decided to add silver satin ribbon to match the silver edge and balance the card a little. Next time I'll put brighter colors on the flower but there was no going back once I used a glitter marker from American Crafts and Souffle yellow marker from Sakura.
Enjoy!
Card Materials
- Brazzil Deep blue cardstock
- SU white cardstock
- Silver cardstock
- Silver Silk Ribbon
- A Muse Artstamp "congratulations" stamp
- Stampendous! "ellie" (elephant) stamp
- Sakura yellow souffle pen
- American Crafts orange glitter marker
For this challenge I decided to use new papers I recently acquired, with matching color ribbons and chip stickers, at my local stamp store. These are from Basic Grey. The chip stickers have strong glue in the back and I realized a bit too late that I didn't center the flower from top to bottom... but I think still looks okay ;-)Card materials: - Stampin' Up Certainly Celery and Vanilla cardstock
- Basic Grey sugared paper pad
- Basic Grey sugared chip stickers
- Basic Grey coordinating fibers
- A Muse Artstamps "Happy Birthday" stamp
I have been wanting to use this big flower stamp from savvy stamps for a while and I thought it will look great stamped in brown (and embossed) over so saffron cardstock. I decided not to add ribbon in order not to take the attention away from the flower. Instead I added a strip of close to cocoa cardstock on the side and used scallop scissors on the right end.
Enjoy!
